Stand up and Speak up Against Bullying

I saw this on Anderson 360 on CNN tonight about how America is in an epidemic of bullying and I for one am totally against bullying. Even for me, I am a victim of bullying because someone on Youtube is stalking, harassing and bullying me via the Internet as well. I don’t tolerate bullying and I don’t tolerate anyone who uses the Internet to Harass, stalk and Bully people.

Bullying to me is wrong no matter what form it takes. The problem is, that in the age of social medial and the Internet. Bullying still goes on and no one has the galls and balls to Stand up to Bullies. Sites like Youtube, are allowing bullies to flourish and allowing bullies to bully people without consequences and repercussions.

Bullying to me is very wrong and to me is very criminal for anyone bullying anyone online.  People should not have to tolerate bullying and tolerate being bullied online. I don’t tolerate bullies and I don’t tolerate being bullied online. Sites like Youtube should have a zero tolerance on bullying and should be cracking down on bullying. Even everyone should have a Zero tolerance against bullying.

When I realized I was a grown-up

When I turned 30 yrs old, that’s when I knew I was no longer a young adult. To me, 20 somethings are late teenagers in my book and true adulthood doesn’t start until you are in your 30′s. What i realized is that when you turn 30, you start to have a different outlook in things and that you start to build up the experience and wisdom of being a bit older. I think for me when I woke up on the day I turned 30, it was all over for me and that Real Adulthood started and that late teen phase died with it. Even for me, I still look at people from 21 to 29 as being late teenagers and not fully grown up and not fully matured. I see 20 somethings and someone who still has a lot to learn and not even ready or mature enough to take on the world by the horns.

College campus bullying

Bullying, dose it happen, yes it does. Is it just kids, no, it’s everyone and everywhere in society. It’s not only gay kids get picked on and bullied. It’s everyone and I for one am a victim of bullying on campus at Southern Connecticut State University. I have seen bullying happen here and I have even been the target of on campus bullying. Dose anyone do anything about it, I doubt it and they mostly turn a blind eye away from it.

I have seen bullying happen on the campus of Southern Connecticut state university and have seen those who are in a position of power abuse and bully people on campus. It has happened, I have seen it and it has happened to me. I have seen people who are RA’s or in any power status, bully people and intimidate people. It frankly a case of abuse of position and people abusing their position to bully people. I have seen RA’s abuse their position to bully people and get away with things that the school dose not look at.

Even in my case, I have seen Ra’s on North campus bully, intimidate and make people’s lives very hard to deal with on campus. Just in one instance, I have seen RA’s bully staff members in not using computers and as a result they in turn get to use computers on the job, while other staff members don’t. It’s a case of bullying and favoritism on campus and I am seeing that first hand. I also see that people on campus are no respecting everyone and not treating people like Adults. Even for me, as someone who’s hearing impaired, and someone who is older than them. Being treated like a kid is wrong and it is disrespecting of me.

So has bullying exist, yes it dose. Dose it happen often, you sure bet it dose and I know it happens so often that people don’t stop or intervene on it. I see it as a case of favoritism and elitism on campus. It has and is happening at Southern Connecticut State University and I’ve seen it happen in North campus as well.

The epidemic of social bullying

One thing I despise the most is bullying and intimidation. I sorely hate it it when someone bullies me and tries to intimidate me. It irks me, it irritates me and sometimes it pisses me off. I have been a victim of bullying and intimidation when I was a teenager. It’s something I don’t take very lightly. I learned that I don’t take bullying or intimidation that easy and I’m one of those who get’s very pissed if someone tries to bully or intimidate me.

When someone tries to bully me or try to intimidate me.  I am one of those who give them my worse attitude. The reason for this is because I’ve been bullied in the past and I learned that when someone bullies me, I don’t take it lightly. I fight back and fight back hard. I have done it when I was a teenager and I learned not to be bullied by anyone anymore.

That’s why I think Bullying is an epidemic in society  right now. I’m seeing people bullying people and intimidating people. Even where I go to College, I am seeing some form of bullying and intimidating amongst college students. I have seen some who have used their positions to bully and intimidate other people. It’s becoming an epidemic and people have no respect for anyone any more. It’s becoming more of the me, me, me mentality where it’s everyone for themselves and not thinking of other people.

The problem i see, is that bully’s have no respect for people and they don’t respect other people. They think they are entailed to everything and they think they can rule over anyone. In reality, bullies are very weak and very much insecure of themselves. They feel the need to feel far superior than others. Even some try to use their position of power to bully and intimidate people. Which i have seen at Southern and I have seen elsewhere.

Which is why I can understand why people who were bullied who took their own life because someone bullied them. I think society needs to get tough on bullies and need to declare War on Bullying. Society needs to stand up and say, were not going to take bullying anymore. They need to crack down on bullies and make not only bullying a criminal offense, make them liable and responsible for their actions. Bullying has psychological, physical and emotional affects and those affects can linger for a long, long time on those who were bullied.

What is wrong with people these days

What is wrong to with people these days. People bullying people as if it’s a blood sport to them. It’s becoming an epidemic here online and in society as a whole. Where you have people who are committing suicide over being bullied by other people or groups. People in society have lost their moral compass, their soul, dignity and their Ethics. People in America and online have lost their common sense, civility and their common respect for one another. Respect online and in society doesn’t mean crap anymore to people. People bullying people over everything under the sun including those who are Gay, their nationality, differences and just who they are. The people who bully other people should be ashamed of themselves and in my opinion, bullying, should be treated as a crime and bully’s should be charged with the very least Assault and battery.

We have an epidemic of people being killed in society at the hands of bullys and the most recent one is in Ohio and the other at Rutgers University. What’s wrong with this is that people are letting bullys get away with murder. People have lost their soul and human dignity and in America we need to change that. We need to get tough on bullys and take a stand that we as Americans will not Tolerate or condone people bullying people.

What we have here is people bullying other people for sport. It’s becoming a blood sport to them and to them, they don’t see the harm it comes to bullying, until someone get’s hurt, killed or wind up in prison. What we have here is parents failing to teach their children and parents of bully’s not taking responsibility for their kids actions. That alone constitutes parental neglect because parents are not being held accountable and responsible for their kids actions.

What we as a society online and in society need to do is to take a tougher stance on bullying. We need to get tough on bullies and I am calling for shaming bullies and calling for accountability in society. I’m calling for tougher laws on bully’s and calling for accountability and responsibility.  American society has become too narcissistic and more of me, me, me mentality than common sense. Common sense in America doesn’t exist anymore and people have lost what it means to have common sense. I also believe that their needs to be a war on bullies and that we need to how we treat people as human beings in society.
