Recession driving many to live with their parents

The sad part of all this is article from the New Britain Herald is that, this economic recession is making it very hard for college age students to survive on their own. Ever since the economic recession in 2009, It’s been very hard for college age and even college graduates to find decent work. Some have been forced to move back home with their parents because the economy is so bad that some can’t afford to live on their own in this economic recession.

Their are those with college degrees that are finding it so hard to find work within their own major during the global economic recession that some have been forced to move home with the folks or forced to find part-time work. It’s very painful during the Global economic recession that young adults who were suppose to be on their own, now finding themselves being back home with their folks. All because the global economic recession has made it very hard for college students and college graduates to find suitable and decent work in their major.

Prior to 2009, I think for a college graduate to find work, was a very good thing. Now in 2012, college students have to be weary and choosey of their major because that can impact how likely they can find work and find a stable income. Those who Major in Health care, technology and education do find some form of stable employment. Where as those who major in liberal studies or business, have the hardest times to find work.

What that article highlighted was the fact that young college age adults who are suppose to be on their own and away from the folks, are now coming back home to live with their folks. The global economic recession has made trying to find work so difficult that no one is immune and that the economic recession is hitting people very hard. It’s going to take at least a decade or two to recover and I think since 2009, we have lost a generation of College graduates to the global economic recession.
