My IDF Story: Serving in the IDF with Cerebral Palsy

My IDF Story: Serving in the IDF with Cerebral Palsy | IDF Blog | The Official Blog of the Israel Defense Forces.

It’s amazing that the IDF is allowing people with Cerebral Palsy to serve in the Israeli Defense force. It’s one of the first that anyone with Cerebal Palsy is allowed to serve in the military. It’s one of the few military’s in the world that allows anyone from intersex people to disabled people to even  LGBT in the IDF. It just goes to show how progressive the Israeli defense force is vs every other Military around the world. The Israeli Defense Force is one of the few militaries in the world that is known to allow everyone from Intersex people, to those with Physical and mental disabilities and even those in the LGBT community.

As a fan of the Israeli Defense Forces, I am always amazed at how progressive the IDF is vs  every other military around the world. It just goes to show how the IDF can integrate every segment of society in the Israeli Military and not have issues that every other military around the world thinks or perceives. The military’s around the world can learn a thing or two on how the IDF integrates every segment of society and makes a perfect case study in how the IDF integrates, intersex people, disabled people and even those in the LGBT community. Maybe every Military around the world can take a page or two from the IDF and apply the concepts the IDF pioneered in allowing everyone in the military from intersex people to Physical & mentally disabled people to even LGBT people.

I am glad that the Israeli defense force are very progressive and I just wish that the US Military would follow the IDF’s lead and take a page from the IDF. They can learn a thing or two from the IDF on how to integrate people from Intersex people to physical & mental disabled people to even LGBT people
