Today’s the United States Coast Guard’s Birthday and it’s our 227 birthday. Like the Commandant said, many countries try to emulate the US Coast Guard because we are the GOLD STANDARD on what it means to be a COAST GUARD. As an Auxiliarist with the United States Coast Guard, I’m proud to be part of the oldest organization in the world.
