A US ally used a sophisticated Patriot missile to take down a low-cost drone launched by an “adversary,” a US general said this week.
Seriously, who the bloody hell would use a $3 Million dollar Patriot Missile, just to shoot down a $200 Amazon.com drone. That seems way beyond excessive and simply overkill here. Either way, it worked and I think the Patriot Missile system just picked up killing UAV Drones as another skill that the Patriot Missile system can do. I may need a Patriot Missile battery just to keep the Drones away from my neighborhood.
